VISION STATEMENT

Purpose

The purpose of South Strand Assembly of God is to win the lost and disciple the won.

Then Jesus came to them and said, ”All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

To Win the Lost
Winning the lost includes evangelism on all fronts. Within our community it requires us to have active methods of reaching out with the message. Outside of our community it means an active involvement in National and International Missions.

To Disciple the Won
Those who receive the message are not to be left without the empowering of the Holy Spirit, training in the Word, discipline rendered through love and fellowship. All of these are necessary parts of discipleship.
